Origen | Where Our Coffee Comes From

Every cup has a homeland. Know where it comes from. Know where you come from.
Cada taza tiene su patria.

Essential · México, Chiapas

The mountains of the south. In Chiapas, México's southernmost state, our coffee grows on high mountain slopes between 1,400 and 1,900 meters. Most of it comes from small family plots, many tended by Indigenous families who have farmed these mountains for generations.

Medium roast. Dark chocolate, brown sugar and a touch of lemon, with a creamy body and a sweet, clean finish. Steady, rich and unhurried: the cup you return to.

Las montañas del sur. Tueste medio: chocolate oscuro, azúcar morena y un toque de limón. Sabe a casa.

Simplicity · Costa Rica, Tarrazú

Farmers who took their future into their own hands. Tarrazú is one of Central America's most famous coffee valleys. In 1960 its growers organized to stop selling their harvest at unfair prices, and the region has reinvested in its roads, bridges and schools ever since. The coffee grows between 1,300 and 1,600 meters and is washed and dried in the sun.

Light-medium roast. Bright, sweet and clear, with notes of pineapple, blackberry and almond. For the quiet hour before the world wakes.

Productores que tomaron su futuro en sus manos. Tueste claro-medio: piña, mora y almendra.

Maestro · Colombia, Tolima (coming soon)

A harvest of hope. High in the mountains of southern Tolima, families who lived through decades of hardship chose coffee as their way forward. Grown between 1,500 and 2,100 meters.

Medium roast. Dark chocolate, mango and peach. Smooth and deep, for the hours that disappear.

Una cosecha de esperanza. Muy pronto.

Roasted to order in small batches in California.
